The Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Seed and Planting Stock"

The Bill (Reg. No. 4590) defines legal, organizational and financial principles of functioning of a seed market. It enhances requirements for cultivation, preparation, calibration and sale of seed and planting stock, orders the structure and authorities of the bodies in charge of State supervision in the field of seed-growing and seedling, etc.

The Committee members believe that adoption of the Bill will eliminate disparities between the legislative acts of Ukraine, bearing positive influence on the production growth and enhancing quality of agricultural production.
